GU is very easy to use. The first thing you do is create your own table under the Tables Menu or open a table from the following menus across the top:

           Mod n Groups                         Direct Product Groups
           Dihedral Groups                     Group Library
           Permutation Groups          

With an open table, you can explore its properties with other menus across the top. You can leave many tables, lattices, and forms open in GU to assist you in your explorations.  However, if a message appears with an OK button, you must close it in order to continue working.
